What does a Henna Art Workshop entail?
Our host Rupal will teach you about the history, origins and therapeutic benefits of henna.
You will learn about the different styles including Arabic, Indian and fusion.
The group will practice drawing traditional shapes and patterns and learn to create their very own design with the choice of applying it on the skin.
Each participant will be provided with a henna kit which includes an individual henna paste cone (100% natural with lavender oil), paper, drawing materials and a small canvas to take away with them.
For an additional cost, your group can create your henna designs on candles instead of a canvas.

Perfect for celebrating Diwali with your team.
A henna workshop is a great way to celebrate Diwali with your team because it promotes creativity, cultural appreciation, and bonding. Henna (mehndi) is a traditional Indian art form often used during festive occasions, symbolizing joy and positivity. Hosting a workshop allows team members to learn a new skill, express themselves artistically, and engage in a unique cultural experience. Applying henna is a fun, non-competitive activity that leaves everyone with beautiful, lasting designs to remind them of the Diwali celebration. If you choose to create your designs on candles, this is particularly festive, as it combines creativity with the festival’s symbolic use of light. Diwali, the Festival of Lights, represents the triumph of light over darkness, and painting candles allows team members to actively participate in this theme. This hands-on activity celebrates the spirit of Diwali in a collaborative and enjoyable way.
