Murder Mystery Party.
A classic whodunnit.
What is it? Meet Detective Solvitt, who needs your help in solving a heinous crime. Working in teams, hear from our suspects and piece together clues from copies of police evidence to solve the murder – before the time is up! The more you interact with the actors, the more you will find out about the case!
How is it hosted? Available as a live show with in-person actors, or as a hybrid show with a live host and remote actors on video link - please see options below.
How much is it? From £750 + VAT.
Where can it be hosted? This experience can be hosted in your office or a venue of your choice, with guests seated in a dining formation. All we will need is space for our actors to change, plus tech requirements if hosting a hybrid event.
How does it work?
Meet the suspects, examine the evidence and play detective as you work out whodunnit!
You will receive a briefing from your host, Detective Solvitt
You will be split into teams to either watch police interview recordings and/or interrogate the suspects played by our actors
Make your way through a pack of police evidence and decipher the clues
Your team will decipher the clues in the pack & evidence that arises during the event, in order to solve the murder.
What are the options?
You can choose whether to host this as a live show with actors in-person, or as a hybrid show with a live host and remote actors on video link:
What is the story?
Murder! at the Manor : a 1920’s “Whodunnit”!
Falconer Manor is the scene of a terrible crime that will shock the usually sleepy village of Skellington. It appears Lord Falconer has been shot with his own gun, but by whom? Can you trust his family, maid and the village vicar to tell the truth? Murder! at the Manor is ideal for first time detectives.
FAQs.
-
Our hybrid event is a cross between an in-person, live event and our online experiences. You’ll meet your Detective in person and you’ll still have a chance to speak to some or all of the murder suspects via a video link!
We’re able to provide all the interaction and fun of a larger-scale show while keeping costs down by using remote actors.
-
We will need access to a private room for the actor/s to get changed, prepare your show and safely leave their personal belongings during your event. An unused office or conference room is ideal.
If you’re event will be hybrid, we will need:
A large screen which visible to all participants for the Detective to play videos and/or connect with your remote characters via Zoom
An excellent internet connection
A laptop or computer for the Detective to log into Zoom or share video over the big screen
Please note: we will use our own Zoom account for hybrid events as they are perfectly set up with our required capabilities. Your participants do not need to log into Zoom – the Detective will connect with the remote actors via the provided laptop and present them for questioning on the big screen at certain points during the event.
-
The participants will be split into at least two teams, dependant on group size – we can do this at random for you, but if you’d like to organise pre-arranged teams, please ensure there are no more than 12 participants per team. They will need to be sat at a table in these groups.
-
As you’ll all be playing detective, each team will be given the chance to give their verdict at the end of the event. A winning team will be selected, so please let our Detective know if you have a prize you’d like to present to the winners.
-
Please note our event timings are approximate. We endeavour to keep to the finishing time as we know your participants have other commitments after the event. However, please be aware that an event for 5 attendees will naturally wrap up quicker than a busier room of 100.
-
The participant numbers are based on our ‘actor to guest ratio’, which ensures the correct number of actors will be available to interact with your participants. For this reason, there is not a minimum group size but our maximum participant numbers are not flexible.
-
We appreciate that each case/event/client/group size is different and it’s impossible to work from a standard list of options when we never know what might arise in each specific case, so please do let us know if you require a bespoke quote for a larger group where more live actors are required, or where your venue is large enough to offer a room for each remote actor to be interviewed by different teams in a rotation basis.
