Meet your host, Niyi.
Niyi grew up in Nigeria, where spice and intense flavours were an intricate part of his culture. After relocating to England, he found himself quite the novice in the kitchen, unable to match the level of flavour or spice his palate was used to. Years later, while travelling, Niyi met a talented chef who educated him about flavour profiles and the importance of quality ingredients, which inspired him to explore new ways to fuse the flavours from his upbringing with ingredients discovered during his travels and Novice Kitchen was born.
Today each ingredient used by Novice Kitchen is personally sourced at local markets. With a key focus on sustainability, Novice Kitchen gives back, a small percentage of sales to organisations focusing on developing sustainable, affordable and scalable methods of food production, to keep the stories going.
Send our chef’s Hot Sauce or Jam to your guests.
These condiments are the perfect addition to a world travel cooking class. You can buy these and send to your guests to enjoy alongside their cooking class for £7.50 + VAT each.
